Paint A Roof began in 2005 when our founder William “Bill” Gotts was renovating a property. He created a breakthrough method that allowed him to paint an old, weathered roof—transforming its appearance and extending its life—without the high cost or waste of full replacement.

What started as one renovation has grown into a passion—to deliver like-new roofs without the cost, hassle, or waste of replacement.

As a designer and builder who has renovated homes for more than three decades, Bill has a passion for creating beautiful, affordable spaces and helping homeowners increase the value of one of their greatest assets—their home. A U.S. Navy Veteran and former Deep Sea Diver, he applies the same precision, discipline, and pride to every project.
